5 Questions: An interview with Lisa Pittman, Executive Assistant, Administration

A bit about yourself (where you grew up, education, hobbies, etc.)

I was born and raised in Ontario and I am an only child.  I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, emphasizing in Marketing from Cal State San Bernardino. I have been with David & Margaret for about a year and a half now.    

What do you most enjoy about working here?

The staff.  The people here at David & Margaret are amazing.  I commend and respect every single person who come to work every day to help the population we serve.

If you could learn anything, what would it be and why?

I would love the opportunity to play the piano.  I have always appreciated and had great respect for people that are musically inclined and would strive to be one of these people in the future.

Who are your role models?

My role models are my parents.  My father had a very strong work ethic and my mother was always supporting me and encouraging me.  I am the person I am today because of my parents.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up, and why?

I took Ballet classes since I was 3 until I was about 23 and when I was little, I was enamored with the New York City Rockettes.  I just loved watching them perform in their pretty costumes.  Needlesstosay, that dream faded as I grew older but when you are 4 years old, things that shine and sparkle are everything in your world.

Saying or motto you live by?

Carpe Diem – make the most of everyday because tomorrow is promised to no one.
