A little bit about Sharon: “I am happily married and I have 2 boys and 3 cats, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, hiking, and swimming. I was introduced to David & Margaret way back when, in 1992. There was an advertisement in the newspaper- back when we used newspapers- and I answered the ad. and came in and interviewed with Bud Whitney (Former Executive Director) and Jacky Guest (Former Program Director of the Learning Enhancement Center)."

What do you enjoy most about working at David & Margaret? “I really enjoy working with the girls and I also enjoy working with children from the community through the Learning Enhancement Center.”

If you could learn anything what would it be and why? “I want to learn how to barbecue! I know that sounds silly, but my husband and kids have always done the barbecuing and I don’t know how. I would really like to learn."

Who are your role models and why? “My role models, I think would have to have been my parents. They were both very hard workers, they owned a business, a hardware store in Ontario which my brother and I worked at for years, they were just very hard workers."

When you were a child what did you want to be when you grew up and why? "A teacher!"

Do you have a saying or motto you live by? "Be kind to everyone"
