Judith Wagner

I worked in the education for more than 30 years in positions ranging from Education Coordinator with Head Start to Director of The Broadoaks Children’s School of Whittier College, where I was professor of Child Development and Education. For the last decade I have also served as an NGO representative at the United Nations, where I advocate for child rights and global policies to promote optimum development of the world’s children, especially the most vulnerable. I heard about David & Margaret and Joan Macy School soon after I moved to Claremont in 2015. When I went on a tour, I was hooked – in love with both the idea and the reality of the place. I am now president of the Joan Macy Board of Directors and thrilled at the opportunity to join the D & M board too. I have twin daughters, both of whom also have twins! I love to get together with friends and family, travel, walk, read, and play with my little rescue dog.
